Teacher's Code of Conduct and Practice Guidelines

Definition
     Code of conduct can be defined as a set of written or spoken standard that members of a particular profession use as guidelines to follow in their work so as to maintain their honour and professional status.
     Those who do not follow the code of conduct will be reprimanded, suspended from work; or their professional licence will be terminated.

Teacher's Code of Conduct and Practice Guidelines
There are four aspects of teacher's code of conduct:
          1. profession
          2. students
          3. teachers themselves
          4. society

Teacher's Code of Conduct in aspect of profession
have faith in teaching profession
          1. protect teaching profession
          2. develop teaching profession
          3. participate in the organisation's activities

Teacher's Code of Conduct in aspect of students
Teachers should treat their students as follows:
          1. be attentive to providing knowledge for their students
          2. love and understand their students
          3. encourage students’ learning
          4. be fair to every student
          5. not take advantage of their students
          6. be an epitome of their students
          7. have respect for their students
          8. teach morals
          9. Help students

Teacher's Code of Conduct in aspect of teachers themselves
          1. be behaved
          2. be conscientious
          3. be rational
          4. be inquisitive
          5 .be circumspect
          6. develop their minds for quality of life and work
          7. give attention to their students

Teacher's Code of Conduct in aspect of society
Teachers should get along with other people and have good relationship with the followings:
          1. students
          2. colleagues
          3. students parents
          4. other people in the community

Guidelines for Follow-up and Evaluation

1.
The school sets up a Supervisory Committee of Teacher's Code of Conduct to pulbicize the information related to teacher's code of conduct and to supervise practice of the code of conduct
2.
The university provides code of conduct manuals and announces to its instructors.  
3.
The school committee supervises all the instructors to follow the code of conduct.
4.
Dean evaluates the instructors practice of code of conduct.  The evaluation is part of annual performance appraisal. The dean then reports the result of the evaluation to the Supervisory Committee of Teacher's Code of Conduct.

The Advisory Committee of Teacher's Code of Conduct will:

select the instructor who has outstanding practice of the teacher’s code of conduct and

set up a plan to prevent the violation of the teacher's code of conduct and review the suitability of the teacher's code of conduct.

The committee provides the evaluation of the supervision of the instructors practice of the code of conduct
