Living and Learning

Her Royal Highness Prince Maha Chakri Sirinthorn came to open the exhibiton, Living and Learning University, at main library, KMUTT.

Phahon Yothin Road - BMA project

This project is a cooperative work between KMUTT and Bangkok Metropolish Adminstration(BMA). The purpose of the project is to develop a pavement, street furniture and planning in order to serve the electric train transportation. This project has an impact of the development of street furnitures in Bangkok until now.

 

Students' Projects on Modern 9 TV.

Undergraduate work - 2003

Students' projects were broadcasted on Modern 9 TV. The projects are all about the Aerobic Muay Thai, Foot massage, Hand Therapy device, and Dern Kala. Those projects are a cooperative work with School of Sport Science, Chulalongkorn University.

R&D Awards - 2004

Samethas Tantaratcharoen won an award from the 1st National Symposium on Research, Development, Innovation, Design - R&DID hosted by the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. She received a grant for the future patent registration.

"Fashion Item Purchasing Supporter" is designed based on user behavior. It is a project which is used to assist users' decision making process when purchasing products such as clothes. The decision making tool will help users make up their mind easier by taking user behavior, satisfaction and appropriacy of the products into account. It cannot make decisions for users but it helps them aware of the potential factors that are related to the product use. The purchasing decision tool is mainly used at the department store or the boutique.

Samathas was invited from Health Station on iTV channel to broadcast her work. She demonstrated her work to the celebrities such as Selium through the computer.

The Elderly Group Exercise Device - Miss Pornpun Saengmala shows her Final Year Project works to Khunthep Business. The project is to assist elderly improving health condition with the motivation of Bingo Game.

Mr. Witawat KiatSakSri - The Design of Mobile Suitcase for freelancers who want to work outside office. The suitcase has a security lock when users are far away from their belonging.

First year students present their Chidogu design. It is the second year that we get a good feedback from the public. Products in the shown are pant-chair, shopping hands, and others.

Non-smoking creative challenge I

Khun Ood and Serium promoted the competition with the smoking helmet from KMUTT's students. The producer asked our students to immitate the spot advertisting by using the intelligent helmet.
