HCD seeks to enroll between 15-20
high-potential students and professionals this year.
Application Process:
The HCD Application for Admission has several components:
Application form: Complete the
application and submit directly to the dean office.
Two letters of recommendation.
Evaluations should be completed by individuals who can comment
with some certainty about an applicant's intellectual and professional
achievements and leadership potential. If possible, one evaluation
should be completed by an academic source for applicants who
attended a university within the last five years.
Transcripts: One copy of an official
transcript is required from each post-secondary institution attended.
Transcripts from international institutions must be in English
and certified.
TOEFL: Non-native English speakers
who have not obtained a post-secondary degree at an English speaking
institution are required to submit scores from the TOEFL examination.
Test scores should be sent to the dean office. Students should
earn minimum scores of 500 on the paper-based TOEFL.
If students do not have the TOEFL
score, they must test the placement test. If students can get
the score more than 73%, then they can exempt from taking the

600. If the score is below 69 % (TOEFL < 470), then they need
to take LNG 550 and LNG 600 from the School of Liberal Arts.
