Who is eligible to apply?
Anyone interested to learn how to be creative and responsible architects and
designers with at least M. 6 qualification, or grade 12, or its equivalent.
There are currently 4 ways (admission channels) to apply: Direct Admission,
Quota System, Central University Admission System, and 2B KMUTT.

How to apply?
Thai Applicants:
Step 1 Prepare your application requirements
Step 2 Complete the KMUTT online application form

Step 3 Print the KMUTT online application form and add one passport size photo
Step 4 Print the KMUTT application fee slip and pay the application fee
Step 5 Send all required documents to KMUTT Admission + Recruitment Division

Application Requirements
1. Latest official high school transcript
2. Two letters of recommendation
3. A signed photocopy of official identification document (I.D. card or passport)
4. Application fee transfer receipt
5. Personal Statement of Motivation (max. one A4 sheet)
(Why do you want to attend SoA+D and what do you hope to accomplish from
your education?)
6. Portfolio of Art and Design work:
Portfolio may include sketches, paintings, drawings, photographs, graphics,
illustrations, prints of digital work, and scanned or photographed oversized work
(such as installations, sculptures, etc.). Applicants have to bring their Design
Work Portfolio during the Interview. Please do not mail your Portfolio with your
Application.
7. Report of English Proficiency Test from TOEFL, IELTS, CU-TEP*, RMIT* or SoAD
English Proficiency Test. The minimum score requirement is as follows:
TOEFL Paper Based = 500 Computer Based = 173 Internet Based = 61
IELTS = 5 CU-TEP* = 500 RMIT* = Upper Intermediate
Remarks:
Applicants who are submitting a CU-TEP score are required to take a Speaking
Test with SoAD English Instructors. Students who are accepted with a CU-TEP
score of 500 above but lower than 520 are required to join an intensive English
workshop organized by the university at their own expense.
Students may directly apply at RMIT to take the RMIT English Test. Please
contact Khun Warin at 0-2803-8350 on the 2nd floor of The Mall Bangkae
Branch.

should be submitted to SoAD during the English application date by fax to Khun
Charupan at fax no. 0-2452-3792. Do not forget to specify your full name on
your transfer order.
SoA+D intensive English Workshop
Students who get a CU-TEP score of less than 520 are required to join an
intensive English workshop organized by the university at their own expense.
Workshop attendance is crucial. Thus, it is compulsory. Absence from
the workshop will result in disqualification from admission to any SoAD
program. Students who will pass the workshop (with recommendation from
the English facilitators) and submit other entry requirements prescribed by
the interviewing committee will be accepted without condition.

2B KMUTT
2B KMUTT program allows high school students to learn more about the university
and to acquire basic research skills through project-based learning during
the summer break. Qualified participants would be recruited to the degree program
through this channel.

Central University Admission System
Central University Admission System (CUAS) is provided only for students
from Thai schools. Students need to take
O-NET (Ordinary National Education
Test), GAT (General Aptitude Test) and PAT (Professional and Academic Aptitude
Test) organized by the National Institute of Educational Testing Service and
Commission on Higher Education. Students should submit the following
assessment results for consideration:
